Description
Bramblings Jasmine Cottage is a 18th-century cottage that has been extended over time. It is constructed of red brick and features a combination of black and red pantiles, along with slates. The cottage is two-storeys high and has a lean-to at the rear. The original part of the cottage has three bays in the center, with full-height pilasters and sash windows that have flat gauged brick arches. The central entrance includes a door with a semi-circular fanlight that has glazing bars, along with a four-panel door. The axial chimneystacks suggest where the original gables were located.
To the right, the house has been extended by two bays, which also include pilasters, sash windows with glazing bars, and an end doorway that features semi-circular gauged brick arches. There is an additional single bay extension to the right, matching the previous features with pilasters, sash windows, flat gauged brick arches, and a slate roof. The eaves soffit displays a triangular relief pattern. Inside, there are niches on either side of the parlour fireplace and window shutters. The roof structure consists of softwood, trenched purlins, and a double frame. The front elevation has a dwarf wall with cast-iron railings.
