Description
Mill House is a former miller's house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of Gault brick with red brick and features a roof covered in black and red pantiles. The building is two storeys high and has a three-bay facade with 20th-century sash windows, which are topped with gauged brick segmental arches. The timber door surround is adorned with three-quarter round Roman Doric pilasters and an entablature. The eaves are supported by soffit brackets, and there are chimneys at the gable ends. Inside, the sash windows have internal shutters.
At the rear, there is a wing that features dentil eaves and a variety of window styles, including a wrought iron lattice window. At the end of the range, there is a coach-house with a pitched roof. The garden walls are made of red brick and flint, with one section displaying three high brick arcades. In front of the house, there is a dwarf wall topped with wrought iron railings.
