Description
Hill House is a mid-19th century house constructed of red brick and covered with black pantiles. It stands two storeys tall and features a three-bay facade with sash windows that have flat gauged brick arches above them. The house has a later classical porch supported by reeded columns and pilasters, topped with a decorated semi-circular canopy. The doorcase has panelled reveals and a six-panel part glazed door. Additional architectural details include parapet eaves, gable chimney stacks, and lead downpipes. The rear range of the house is not of special interest. To the right, there is a wall with a Victorian inset post-box. The facade is complemented by a brick wall with wrought iron decorated railings and a gate.
