Description
London House and Church View are late 18th century semi-detached houses made of red brick, which have been colourwashed, with pantile roofs. They stand three storeys high and have rear lean-to extensions. The house on the right features three bays with sash windows topped by segmental brick arches, and the first and second floors have glazing bars. The central doorcase is adorned with plain pilasters, an entablature, and a four-panel door. The eaves are supported by triple brick corbels, and there is a parapet verge with a gable stack. At the rear, there are scattered 19th century casement windows and 20th century dormers in a Mansard roof. Inside, there is a winding stair with a turned newel and square balusters. The house on the left has two bays, one of which includes a projecting shop window with glazing bars and a plain tile roof. There is a 20th century porch over a four-panel door, and it also features sash windows with glazing bars and segmental brick arches, along with a dormer window in the Mansard roof at the rear.
