5/16 Parish Rooms, Engine House and Barn to Old Rectory

Former Rectory Barn, built of red brick and pantiles in 1731, and extended to form a fire engine house in 1853. Gable wall with plinth, C20 casement windows in original openings, honeycomb brick ventilators, both under segmental brick arches. Datestone inscribed "T.A. 1731", and above, an owl hole. Parapet gable with tumbling-in and tie iron ends with initials T.A. Elevations to churchyard has 5 blocked openings with segmental brick arches and scattered C20 fenestration. Elevation to north contains original barn doors. Large span double roof of hard wood with 2 sets of staggered butt purlins. Engine House to north, with datestone above cambered brick arch, built to house the fire engine, formerly housed in the Church.
