Description
Glenmore House and Glenmore Cottage are two semi-detached, three-storey houses dating from the 17th century, with an extension to the right and a third floor added in the late 18th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick that has been colourwashed, topped with red pantiles. They feature three bays with sash windows that have glazing bars and flat arches made of brick. There is a shop window at the left end and a gable that includes a plinth and a moulded string course. The entrance has a raised and fielded panel door with a moulded frame. At the rear, there is a casement window with leaded lights. The right-hand end has a mid-19th century door surround with a 20th-century door. The eaves are adorned with triple brick dentils. Inside, the late 17th-century parlour at the left end includes a spine beam with compound ogee mouldings and a matching cornice.
