Description

Black Mill Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that stands two storeys tall, constructed from red and blue brick with a tiled roof. The gable ends are finished with brick coping, and there are stacks located at each gable end. The eaves feature a diagonal-set brick cornice. The cottage has three casement windows on the upper floor, which are mirrored by three similar windows below, all topped with segmental arches and fitted with modern wood mullions and transoms. Additionally, there is a modern brick porch and a one-storey penticed extension.
