Description

The Laurels is a house with an early 17th century core that was altered and extended in the mid 19th century. It has 1½ storeys and attics and is constructed with a timber frame that is rendered. The roof is a gambrel style from the 18th century, covered with pantiles, and features axial and gable chimneys made of red brick, along with a mono-pitch pantiled dormer. The windows are 19th century casements, and there is a 20th century entrance door. The original 3-bay 17th century timber-framed house was extended towards the road around 1850 in painted brick, which is now divided into cottages.
