Description
Nos 6 to 9 on Callis Street are a range of 18th century timber-framed and plastered houses. They are two storeys high and feature a six-window range with double-hung sashes that have thin glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. On the ground floor, two 19th century bay windows are located on either side of the doorway to No 6. Each house has a six-panel door, which is complemented by pilasters and cornice hoods. The roofs are covered with slate. All the listed buildings on Callis Street are part of a group.
