Description

Tudor Cottage is a house that was formerly divided into two cottages. It dates from the early 17th century and has an L-shaped plan with one and a half storeys. The building is timber-framed and roughcast, featuring an internal chimney stack with four tall attached hexagonal shafts on a plain base. The roof is modern and covered with pantiles. There are four 2-light casement windows, two of which are from around 1960 and have leaded panes. The house also has three gabled dormers, and both the dormers and gables are adorned with ornamental late 19th-century barge-boards. A 20th-century porch and door complete the exterior.
