Description
No. 11 Church Street is an early 18th-century house that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with a white brick front added in the early 19th century. The north side includes pargetted panels from the 20th century. The building stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in plain reveals. On the ground floor, there are two six-panel doors with blocked semi-circular fanlights, also in plain reveals with gauged brick arches. Additionally, there is a central 19th-century shop front with pilasters and a cornice. The roof is double-pitched and tiled. This building is part of a group with the listed buildings on Church Street and the Parish Church of SS Peter & Paul, as well as those on Market Hill.
