Description

No. 25 Castle Street is a house dating from the early 18th century. It features a plastered and colourwashed timber frame with a pantiled roof and has a lobby entrance plan. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range. It stands on a high brick plinth and has a central 20th-century six-panelled door that is accessed by a flight of three steps, with the upper two door panels glazed. There is a three-light 20th-century casement window on both the left and right sides of the door. On the first floor, there are two three-light casement windows, one dating from the 19th century and the other from the late 20th century. The roof is gabled and features a central ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected.
