Description

Street Farmhouse is a former farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It has two storeys and attics, constructed of red brick with parapeted gable ends and a mansard roof. The facade features three windows with small-paned sashes set in flush frames, each topped with rubbed flat arches. The central door is inset and has six flush panels, framed with a cased design and a flat pediment above. Originally, this range had a slate roof and three flat-headed early 19th-century dormers. At the rear, there is an older wing that is timber-framed and plastered in panels, standing at one and a half storeys with a pantiled roof and a chimney. To the north of the house, there are high red brick garden walls that feature crinkle-crankles on both the north and south sides.
