Description
Feoffee's Farmhouse is a former farmhouse with a probable late-medieval core, featuring alterations from the 17th century and mid-20th century. The main range is two storeys high, while the 17th-century cross-wing includes an attic. The building is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a plaintiled roof that has a red brick axial chimney. It has small-paned sash windows from the 20th century and a gabled porch with a boarded entrance door. It is believed to have originally been an open hall house, of which only the hall remains, showcasing heavy framing. A chimney was added in the cross-entry, and the cross-wing replaced the service cell during the 17th century. There has been significant remodelling in the mid-20th century, including the addition of a two-storey rear wing.
