Description

Brambly Hedge is a former farmhouse dating from the mid to late 17th century. It has a three-cell lobby-entrance plan and is one storey high with attics. The building is constructed of timber framing and plaster, topped with a thatched roof. There is a 19th-century axial chimney and an 18th-century gable chimney, both made of red brick. The house features eyebrow casement dormers and small-pane casements from the 20th century. A hipped entrance porch, also from the 20th century, leads to a boarded entrance door. Inside, the plain 17th-century timber framing is exposed.
