The building is timber-framed, with some areas retaining early or original plaster. The roof is thatched and includes axial and gable chimneys made of red brick from the 17th or 18th century. The cottage has 19th-century small-pane casements and a 20th-century gabled entrance porch made of pantiles, which includes a plank door, along with another entrance at the right-hand end. The interior has not been examined.
