Description
Green Farm Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It has a timber frame that is plastered and features a thatched roof. The cottage consists of two small cells and is one storey high with an attic. A central boarded door is flanked by two and three-light metal frame glazing bar casements, both of which have hoodboards. On the left end, there is a large external stack that is rendered and mostly free-standing, with an offset plinth that tapers to a cap. There is also a pantiled lean-to oven outshut at the rear. The attic includes a two-light casement on the left end with exposed plates and purlins, and another two-light attic casement on the right end with exposed purlins. A 20th-century addition is present. At the rear, there are two more two-light glazing bar casements with hoodboards. The interior frame is concealed.
