Description
Gibson's Farm House is a house dated 1791, as indicated by the iron inscription on the gable end. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof. The building has three bays and two storeys. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled part-glazed door that is recessed, with panelled reveals and mouldings leading to an open pedimental head. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in moulded flush frames with gauge brick flat arched heads. The house has an offset plinth and raking boarded eaves, along with internal end stacks. The gable ends have kneelers with tumbled-in brickwork; the right gable displays 'WC 1791', while the left gable features 'WC' with a segmental-headed casement. At the rear, there is a catslide roof over a one-storey and attic continuous lean-to, which includes one and two-light segmental-headed casements and a continuous parapet with kneelers. The interior has not been inspected.
