Description
White Hall is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century or possibly the late 16th century. It has a three-cell plan and stands two storeys high. The building is timber-framed and is encased at the front and sides in early 19th-century gault brick, featuring parapet gables. The roof is plaintiled and has an axial early 17th-century chimney made of red brick, which includes a sawtooth shaft and a sunk date panel at its base. The early 19th-century window openings have flat arches made of gauged brick, and there are 20th-century three-light casements. The farmhouse also has a 19th-century gabled entrance porch with a six-panelled door. At the rear, there are two service wings that date from the 19th century or earlier. The interior has not been examined.
