Description

Burnhams Cottage is a house that likely dates from the mid-16th century or earlier. It has one storey and attics, featuring a three-cell cross-entry plan. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a pantiled roof that is half-hipped at both ends. There is a mid-20th century flat-roofed casement dormer. The house has a central chimney from the 17th century, with a base made of buff brick and a sawtooth shaft constructed of red brick. The windows are mid-20th century small-pane casements, and there is a boarded entrance door. The interior has not been examined.
