Description

This barn, located 30 meters north-east of Ebbs House, dates from the late 16th century and features five bays. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a pantiled roof. On the west side, there is a pair of framed and boarded doors. The barn showcases good and largely complete framing, including arch braced tie beams (some of which have been replaced with 19th-century knees), full-height close-studding, and a wind braced clasped purlin roof that was originally hipped at both ends.
