Description

Brook Cottage is a house located on the east side of The Causeway in Walsham le Willows, likely built in the 18th century as an extension to the adjoining Priors Close. The building is timber-framed and rendered, with a roof covered in plain tiles. It stands two storeys high and has a two-cell layout, featuring an internal chimney stack with a plain high red brick shaft. There are three windows, which are small paned two-light casements, with the ground floor windows being wider and deeper. The entrance door has six raised fielded panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight divided by glazing bars into three lights. The interior does not expose any timbers, and a straight flight of stairs has been inserted through the chimney stack.
