Description

These four houses, originally built as one dwelling, date from the mid-16th century or earlier. They have two storeys and four windows, arranged around a three-cell plan. The front features an exposed timber frame with plaster infill panels set between heavy, close-studding. The roof is half-hipped and covered in shingles, originally thatched. An axial chimney has been rebuilt in the mid-20th century using red brick, with additional mid-20th century red brick gable chimneys located to the left and right. The windows are mid-20th century, with three-light, small-paned casements. There are also mid-20th century entrance porches, also half-timbered and fitted with panelled doors. The interior has not been inspected.
