Description

This is an outbuilding dating from the early to mid-18th century, located immediately southeast of Walnut Tree Farmhouse. It features a plastered timber frame and a gabled roof made of corrugated iron. The building is one storey high and has plank double doors with strap hinges on the west side. Inside, the structure retains an intact oak frame with jowled posts and thin pegged studs. It has a two-bay clasped-purlin roof and a central plastered timber partition. This outbuilding is included in the listing for its group value with the farmhouse.
