Description

Majjyk Cottage is an early 19th-century house with a U-shaped plan. It is timber framed and rendered, topped with a hipped thatched roof, and consists of one storey. The front facing the road is symmetrical, featuring two 2-light small-paned casement windows and a boarded door that is sheltered by a wide rendered porch, with the main roof extending over it. There is a central stack with a red brick shaft. At the rear, between the wings, there is a later brick lean-to with a slated roof. Inside, the cottage has poor quality, primary-braced framing.
