Description
The bakehouse, located 20 meters east of Hall Farmhouse, is likely from the 16th century, with alterations made around 1700 and in the 19th century. It is a single-storey building with attics, constructed from timber framing and plaster. The roof is covered with pantiles and features an internal end chimney made of red brick. The bakehouse has various 19th-century small-pane windows and boarded doors. The original structure consists of a two-bay bakehouse without an upper floor, which was modified around 1700 to include an upper floor, an altered open truss, and a new roof built in a butt purlin style. In the 19th century, a dairy and an external staircase, both made of painted brick, were added. The bakehouse is included for its group value with the surrounding buildings.
