The roof is pantiled, originally thatched, and features an axial chimney of early 17th century red brick with a sawtooth shaft. The windows are mid-20th century small-pane casements. A mid-20th century glazed panelled door is located at the lobby-entrance position, sheltered by a lean-to pantiled porch on posts.
