Description

16 and 17 Church Walk are a pair of houses dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They feature a timber-frame construction that is plastered and colourwashed, standing on a brick plinth, with a pantiled roof. The nearly symmetrical facade has two stories and four windows. There is one restored plank door on either side of the elevation. The ground floor has four 20th-century 8/8 sash windows between the doors, while the first floor has four 20th-century 2-light casement windows. The gabled roof includes a central ridge stack.
