Description
14 and 15 Church Walk are a pair of houses dating from the mid-18th century, though they likely have earlier origins. They are timber-framed, roughcast, and colourwashed, featuring a virtually symmetrical facade with two storeys. There is one early 20th-century door on each side of the elevation, both with glazed upper panels. No. 14 has a late 18th-century 10/10 sash window, while No. 15 has a 2/2 sash window; both are replacements but retain exposed boxes. The first floor has two 3-light 18th-century casement windows, separated by a 2-light 20th-century casement. The roof is bell-based and gabled, with a central ridge stack, and there are large outshut extensions at the rear. Inside, the ground floor features chamfered bridging beams, and the main room of No. 15 has wainscote panelling.
