Description
Redhouse Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located on Chapel Road in Wattisfield. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered and topped with plaintiles. The building has two storeys and includes an internal chimney stack with a two-tier rectangular base, which is corbelled at the head and has a blank recessed panel, along with two truncated barrel shafts. There is also a later end stack on the right side. The windows are standard casements that were installed around 1980. A 20th-century enclosed gabled porch with applied mock timbering leads to the entrance door, which is positioned in the lobby area. Inside, plain timbering is exposed, and the ground floor ceiling joists are set on edge.
