Description
Hall House is a former farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered, with rusticated roughcast panels, and is topped with black glazed pantiles and red brick gable ends. The building has two storeys and attics, with gable ends that display blue headers, a brick band, and tumbled gables, which include chimney stacks with plain square shafts. Inside, there is a coved timber and plaster cornice. The exterior has five cross windows with pintle hinges, and the slightly recessed central entrance door has six flush panels, with the top two being glazed, and is framed by a moulded surround topped with an enriched triangular pediment. Some ground floor windows are fitted with panelled internal shutters. The exterior has been very sympathetically restored.
