Description

This is a house dating to around 1840, located on High Street in Needham Market. The building is constructed of red brick, with flat pilasters at each bay. These pilasters have moulded stucco capitals that support a shallow elliptical arch above the windows on the second storey. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, with red brick chimneys. The house is three storeys high and has three windows across the front. The windows are sash windows with border panes, and they are topped by painted lintels shaped like a moulded cornice resting on console brackets. The original entrance door has two arched, beaded panels, above which is an oblong fanlight and a cornice supported by reeded console brackets.
