Description

College Grove Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably dating from the 17th century, featuring a two-cell lobby-entrance plan. The building has one storey and attics, constructed with a timber frame and pebble-dashed exterior. It has a Roman pantiled roof with an axial chimney made of red brick, and there is a 19th-century monopitched pantiled casement dormer. The windows are small-pane 19th-century casements. A gabled mid-19th-century entrance porch with a four-panelled door adds to the character of the farmhouse. Inside, the roof structure includes clasped-purlin construction.
