Description
Oxborrows Hotel is a timber-framed and plastered house, likely built in the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and later renovations in the 20th century. The building features a slightly projecting upper storey at both the north and south ends. It has two storeys and attics, with a three-window range of double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. The central window is a three-light bay. The ground storey showcases early 19th-century shop fronts that have been renovated, featuring glazing bars and fluted pilasters, and a moulded fascia connects the ground storey. A two-storey wing with a parapet and a blank panelled upper storey with pilasters extends to the south. The roofs are tiled and include three flat-headed dormers.
