19 and 21 St Peter's Street is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 17th to 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and later. The house is two storeys high with attics. It has a three-window front, with double-hung sash windows featuring single vertical glazing bars to number 19 (two windows) and glazing bars to number 21 (one window). The windows are set in flush cased frames. The ground floor has small, 20th-century shop fronts. The roof is tiled and includes two flat-headed dormers.
