A good example of C19 industrial architecture comprising 2 blocks of maltings, a larger block facing south on Felaw Street and a smaller block of similar design facing north. These buildings are part of a large complex of C19 maltings and industrial buildings in this part of the docks. A red brick building. 5 storeys and double attics. 10 window range, factory windows with segmental arched heads. Each window range is set in a slightly recessed brick panel. Roofs slate, with 2 rows of dormer windows. At the east end of each malting there is a drying block of 3 storeys with a tall, steeply sloping, slate roof with 3 ventilators.
