The ground floor is constructed of painted brick, while the first floor, altered in the early 19th century, slightly projects forward. This upper floor features a moulded fascia board and is divided into panels by four pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The building is two storeys high, with attics and cellars. The main block has a three-window front, and a single-window range extension to the north. It features double-hung sash windows. The centre window on the first floor is a three-light oriel bay window with glazing bars. The outer windows on this floor have single vertical glazing bars, while the ground floor windows lack glazing bars and have plain stucco architraves. The roof is tiled with three flat, hipped dormers. The building is part of a group with numbers 6 to 18 (even) and 18A, and numbers 7, 9, and 15 Lower Brook Street.
