Description

This is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with a cross wing at the west end. The building has undergone considerable alteration. It is two storeys high. The upper storey of the cross wing is jettied, while the main part of the building has a four-window range with 20th-century casement windows, two of which rise to form dormers with sloping roofs. The ground floor contains 20th-century shop fronts. The roofs are tiled, and there is an old central chimney stack.
