Description

Nos 10 and 12 on Queens Street are a pair of 18th-century red brick houses, with No 12 currently painted. The front of the buildings features a slight concave curve and a parapet adorned with balustraded panels above each window range, along with a stucco cornice. The houses have six windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in flush cased frames. The ground floor windows include later blind boxes. There is a garage entrance at No 14. A six-panel door is located in plain reveals. The roofs are tiled and feature six large dormers, which also have double-hung sashes with glazing bars and cornices. Nos 8 to 12 form a group with the Queens Hotel.
