Description

17 Blackhorse Lane is an early 19th century house made of grey gault brick, featuring a parapet and a raised brick band. The house is positioned at right angles to Blackhorse Lane, facing south. It has two storeys and a three-window range, with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars. These windows are set within stucco shouldered architraves and have moulded sills supported by brackets. Originally, the windows had cornices. The outer window ranges are slightly recessed within brick panels. The central entrance features a six-panel door, with the upper panels glazed, and is adorned with a moulded stucco architrave and a modillioned pediment on console brackets.
