Description

Formerly St Anne's School, this building is an early 19th-century structure located on Market Hill, dating from 1852. It is two storeys high and constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The façade features a band, sash windows with glazing bars, flush frames, and flat arches. Notably, there is a three-light splay bay window on the south side. The entrance includes a modernized six-panel door with an oblong fanlight, surrounded by an architrave and topped with a flat cornice. This building is part of a group of listed buildings around the Shire Hall.
