Description
No. 21 Market Hill is an early 17th century building that has a modernized front. The structure is timber framed and plastered at the rear, while the front features tiles, roughcast, and slates. It has two windows, which are sash with exposed frames, and the glazing bars remain in the upper half. There is a former six-panel door that now has a glazed upper part. The ground floor includes a sashed bay and two entrances beneath a slate pent roof. A passageway is located on the left side. All listed buildings in Market Hill form a group around the Shire Hall.
