Description
Seckford House is an early 19th-century building that incorporates an 18th-century structure. It features a double span roof and is constructed from Suffolk yellow brick, with a parapet. The facade has three recessed panels that extend over two floors, each with segmental arches. There are three sash windows with glazing bars, flat arches, and stone cills, all set within the recesses. To the left, there is an eight-panel door with a segmental head, accompanied by a narrow segmental fanlight and sidelights, along with panelled reveals and a soffit of the arch. A former door leading to the yard has been altered to include a window in the northern wing. Seckford House is part of a group of listed buildings around The Shire Hall in Market Hill.
