Description

Dart Cottage is a house dated 1796, with later alterations. It is built of painted brick and features a roof made of red and black-glazed pantiles, hipped to the east, with an internal gable end stack on the north side. The building has two storeys and a single-bay east front. On the left side, there is a 6-panelled door set in a doorcase with minimal architrave. To the right, there is one 6/6 unhorned sash window on each floor. Above the door, there is a tablet displaying the date and the arms of Sir Percy Wyndham. The house also has a dentil eaves cornice. The left return has three windows and a two-storey central projection with a pent roof. The interior has not been inspected.
