Description
No. 19 Market Place is a meeting hall built in 1865, now serving as business premises and a flat. It was converted in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick with a gault brick facade and has a slate and pantile roof.
The exterior features a two-storey front with two windows, a gable facing the street, and clasping pilasters at the corners. There is a plate-glass display window on the ground floor, and on the first floor, two round-arched casements are separated by a date plaque beneath a trefoil. The gable end is pedimented and encloses a clock face. The left side of the building has four casements.
