Description
St. Margaret's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, featuring a 19th-century colourwashed brick casing on the facade and left gable, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range with various casements, including two original ovolo-moulded mullion windows on the first floor. The doorway is asymmetrical and has a late 19th-century gabled porch with wavy bargeboards, leading to a 20th-century half-glazed door. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timberwork, including one arched and moulded tie beam, which may be a re-used timber.
