Description

This is an early 18th-century building of two and three storeys with a basement, comprising numbers 24 to 27 Rectory Street. It has an attic space and two dormers. The external appearance is of brick with a stucco finish, intended to emulate ashlar masonry, and is roofed with machine tiles. The building has four windows per floor, with sash windows featuring glazing bars set within flush frames. Number 25 has a gable facing the street. There are three six-panel doors, each with an architrave, frieze, and cornice. Numbers 26 and 27 share a single entablature. Number 24 has its entrance on the side return. Numbers 23 to 27, together with number 30, form a notable group.
