Description

26 and 28 Newmarket are probably 18th-century buildings that have been altered. They are two stories tall and feature a pebbledash exterior. The front has two sash windows with glazing bars and flush frames. The roof is covered with pantiles. On the ground floor, there are shops with wooden cases that have panelled pilasters. These buildings are part of an important central group in Newmarket, which includes the structures around the "island."
