Description

The Limes is a house with a late 18th century to early 19th century facade, but it has an earlier core. The building was extended to the rear, likely in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered on the facade and the right-hand return front, while the left-hand return front and rear are made of colourwashed brick. The roof is slated, with black pantiles on the rear. The house has two storeys and a three-window range, with sash windows that have glazing bars in flush frames. The central doorway has a six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed, and is framed by a reeded architrave with corner squares and a small flat hood. There are also some leaded casements on the left-hand return front.
