Description
Bridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the early 17th century, with later extensions including a former dairy wing from the late 17th or early 18th century located to the northwest. The building has a T-shaped plan and is constructed with timber framing and plaster, which is lined to imitate ashlar. It features a plain tiled roof and has two storeys plus an attic. The original section of the farmhouse has three windows, which are modern 20th-century three-light casements with square hood moulds. There is a mid-20th-century glazed door with a frieze and pediment above, and an internal stack. The former dairy wing has exposed timber framing with brick nogging and roughcast render on the gable ends, topped with a pantiled roof. This section is single storey with an attic and includes mid-20th-century windows and catslide dormers. The interior of the farmhouse has been completely modernised.
